The Volvo C70 is a luxury automobile manufactured by Volvo Cars in two generations. the first from model years 1997-2002 as coupé and from 1999-2006 as a soft top convertible. The second generation C70 has been marketed since 2006 as a retractable hardtop convertible. Volvo C70 in 2001 equipped with 2.4-liter engine with light-pressure turbocharging that can produce 190-horsepower, which is available only in the convertible this year. For extra performance, 2.3-liter with a high-pressure turbocharger that can produce 236 horsepower, which is standard in coupes and available in the convertible. A five-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and five-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.
