Repair of caution – before the start of the safe repair, parameter operation works correctly in order to check the follow points 1 and 2 below to open the rear window, and then remove the gray plastic covers over the lock, the lock on the window, peel back the isolation and use a meter check continuity across solder paste pads when parameter operation is depressed. If you have a working switch should then following repair fix your window, assuming that the solenoid is not defective. 1. remove the lower tailgate removal by cuts of 18 around without buttons, and then remove the buttons 4 ensuring the crater close recesses. 2. You should now be able to open the window by dragging the solenoid (note-I removed the trim at the top in order to photograph the solenoid). Panel exterior housing high level brake light should now be removed. This is secured with 2 large flat head bolts, 2 General main bolts and 2 plastic clips. Bolts need a bit Torx T30 remove them. lift Panel exterior housing high level brake light gently. If the plastic clips not releasing easy remote then two plastic covers running around the hinges. Note that the two "torx screws", seems to keep hinge trims are actually plastic protection plugs. Gently pull open the "torx head", and to ensure Jack will come out. Large Brown connector takes power for heated rear window and also has an extra wire (yellow) opening rear window signal. Use a "Scottish lock" or the like to attach a 1.5 m in length on the black wire to the yellow wire.
